Dr. Catherine Kahabuka is skilled, passionate and highly knowledgeable about the work she does! I had the pleasure of working with her and CSK on a PrEP/HIV project in Tanzania. The project was enhanced by her HIV expertise. She expertly coordinated the research, supervised and motivated the research assistants, and oversaw the data collection. Her training skills are exemplary. She directly secured interviews with and subsequently interviewed key stakeholders. Dr. Kahabuka is brilliant and simply a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her as a researcher!
Catherine, you are amazing and always have been! Thanks for the good work you are doing mentoring the next generation of researchers.
Catherine was my co-investigator on a USAID-supported FP/HIV study, and she was supremely competent, collegial, and diligent. She is detail-oriented and responsive, very strong both as a scholar and manager. She was a pleasure to work with, and I have readily recommended her for other research opportunities.
I have known Catherine since 2011; she supported the qualitative and quantitative research on harm reduction services against unsafe abortion in Tanzania. The study provided evidence to initiate harm reduction services in the country. Catherine has also supported research on stigma. In addition to being a skilled researcher, she is a good speaker of complex research issues. Catherine has experience in other Easter African countries. I strongly recommend Catherine as a researcher.
Way back not decades ago, I was privileged to work with Dr. Catherine Kahabuka as a Co-Consultant while leading a process of developing a five-year Strategic Plan for Amref Health Africa- Tanzania office. We did quite a lot together, by conducting strategic analysis, choice and developing implementation plan. We had a lot of support from other stakeholders such as from NGO, International UN agencies, Ministry, and board members. I noted the energy, the commitment, the perfection and a thirst of completion of the task we had by Catherine. As a retired professor, I can see many fruitful years from Kahabuka. To this regard, she is a leader, a hard worker, and a mentor for young people. Please join me to pray and support her. Prof. Binagwa
I've worked with Catherine and her research team on several projects in Tanzania and she is the quintessential professional and research partner. Catherine is exceptionally good at leading projects and guiding her team of motivated researchers. She is thoughtful, extremely competent, and a very clear communicator. As a partner, CSK was very reliable in completion of everything from study preparation, tool development, data collection and analysis, to the delivery of high-quality reports.
