About Me

Catherine Kahabuka MD, PhD

Founder & Managing Partner _ CREMES International

Dr. Catherine Kahabuka’s journey commenced with an unwavering passion for making a difference in people’s lives. Driven by the belief that research is a vital component of effective program and systems, she committed herself to developing strong research skills, making her one of the renowned research consultants in Tanzania.

To date, Dr. Catherine and her team have provided support for 60+ research activities, serving 35+ international clients across 18 countries. In 2023, her firm earned a spot as one of the six Tanzanian research institutions responsible for evaluating USAID-funded projects in Tanzania under the T-MELA initiative.

Driven by her passion to share her research knowledge and skills with the younger generation, Dr. Catherine established the CREMES Research Mentorship Program in 2019, expanding it to 6 African countries by 2023.

Having observed the transformative impact of her research trainings and receiving numerous requests, Dr. Catherine expanded her offerings to individuals outside her mentorship program and to organizations.
